Risography is a printing technique that prints every color layer separately. The bright rice-based colors result in beautiful textures and a handmade feel, next to being more environmentally friendly than other inks. Part of the charm of this technique is also its small imperfections, like tracking marks of the feeding wheel, slightly imperfect alignment of the color layers, and smudges from the slow-drying ink.
